The Buglers Of Weko Beach are a small group of people who regularly take turns playing Taps at the moment of sunset over Lake Michigan. The Buglers play from a corner of the pavilion boardwalk, located over the sands, in front of the Lions Cafe. This evening, July 08, 2010, the Bugler was Marlene Beach and I listened and snapped a picture as she beautifully played the haunting melody of TAPS. The pinkish glow of the sunlit clouds reminded me of sounds being carried along on the winds.
